When I first started my business, it was as Ren White-Out Office Solutions. I knew right away that I wanted my logo to be a representation of me so a woman with an afro and glasses came to mind. I hired someone from Fiverr to design my logo as I had no graphic design skill and what I described and what I envisioned was nowhere near what I received. I am grateful, though, because it is through this folly that I decided to design the logo myself. I couldn't afford Photoshop at the time so I did some googling, clicked upon Inkscape, learned about vectors, watched a few tutorials and I designed my logo.
With the Adminovative brand I sought to incorporate my love for bright happy colors while still maintaining a professional air. My favorite color is yellow so I knew that had to be included and the rest of the colors just sort of filled themselves in. Teal is my spin on corporate blue and the rest all fit.
From a onepage website, to a white website, to the website you see today my website was the last piece of the puzzle and went through many transitions as I improved upon my skill level.
